Grey Noise

Grey noise is psychoacoustically calibrated to sound equally loud across all frequencies to the human ear, following the equal-loudness contour (ISO 226). Unlike white noise which has equal energy, grey noise compensates for how humans perceive different frequencies. This makes it exceptionally smooth and non-fatiguing for extended listening. It's often preferred for audio testing and calibration purposes. For everyday use, it provides a balanced masking effect without any frequency range standing out. Ideal for: sound masking with minimal listener fatigue, audio work, sensitive listeners.
